Responsibilities

• ​Build applications according to the design and provide designers with feedback and suggest tradeoffs when required
• ​Ensure the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards
• ​Work closely with backend developers to understand and properly use the systems APIs
• ​Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
• ​Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
• Develop new user facing features
• Write reusable code and libraries
• Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability
• Validate input before submitting to back end
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholder
• Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation
• Define how the application looks and how it works
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code

Requirement

• 2-3 years in developing Web Application frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, Vue.js, and/or similar
• Familiar with modular component development based on configurations, reusability mindset
• Basic knowledge in cybersecurity for handling data securely and encryption
• Good understanding of OOP & Design Pattern
• Able to do Unit Testing
• Have experience with Agile or Scrum
• Understands design inspectors such as Zeplin or Sketch Cloud
• Collaborative and team player
• Ability to speak up if requirements are not clear

Key Skills

Domain Expertise:

• Past experience as a frontend developer building modern React Native-based web applications
• Expert experience with HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS/etc., JavaScript, and responsive design
• Web development experience with web development tooling and frameworks in the Javascript ecosystem
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as React Native
• Hands-on knowledge of RESTful APIs and how use them in practice
• Hands-on knowledge of object-oriented programing, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Unit testing
• Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests

Agile/Digital Experience:

• ​Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• ​Experience as a Developer on a cross-functional agile team preferred
